Front hinge cracked; one text page and one plate with long tears with old repairs. A rare work, a collection of caricature portraits of men and women making toasts, each with a letterpress description. The missing text is for 'All Friends round the Wrekin'; the missing plates are 'Honest Men and Pretty Women' & 'May the Pleasures of the Evening Bear the Morning's Reflection'.

Each plate 280 x 320mm (11 x 12½") Very large margins, uncut. Wear to edges. "The Progress of Seduction" complete set of six scenes of the downfall and penitence of Lætitia, seduced by a faithless lover.
